Our daughter has been working with The Learning Common for almost a year now and we remain so grateful for the teaching and learning they offer. Through this unpredictable and vulnerable time of a pandemic, her teacher has remained an anchor of both routine and inspiration. She has built a trusting relationship with our daughter, and in that safety, there is freedom to take risks, be playful, and connect in relevant and meaningful ways. So, yes, her literacy skills have developed, but so has her imagination, her creativity, her humour, and her sense of purpose. I wish all kids could learn in the way that The Learning Common teaches.
